I built /usr/src/usr.bin/ssh on an amd64_5.6 against the new ssl libs (the system is patched up to 009_httpd.patch.sig). When I installed I got "No supported key exchange algorithms found" when attempting to ssh to any system < 5.6. Stock 5.6 binaries were able to work with the rebuilt 5.6 binaries.
I spose this is all quite reasonable given the advent of LibreSSL, but I'm wondering why stock 5.6 talks both ways. My current theory on dinosaurs is the the removal of SSLv3 in patch 005_nosslv3.patch.sig. Any knowledge would be appreciated. Thanks Dhu -- Ne obliviscaris, vix ea nostra voco.
