Hi Darren,

thanks for the info. I tried down-/uploading directly to/from the ALIX
w/o any switch or other clients connected. But to be honest, i'm not
sure if vr1 connected to the modem was set to sth strange.

VDSL modem - ALIX(vr1)    (no clients connected for testing purposes)

Unfortunately this has been a customers setup and meanwhile we switched
to APU 1D4 which works fine except you can certainly fry an egg on the
bottom.

If all goes well, i can switch to VDSL 50mbit in the next 12 months so
i'll give the ALIX a shot then and report @misc.
