I believe I did that - I don't have those files on my system.
But the removal list does not mention /usr/include/com_err.h;
the only occurence of "com_err" is rm -f /usr/lib/libcom_err{,_p}.*

Is it simply that rm -f /usr/include/com_err.h
is missing from that list?
