Try a mirror. Actually, using mirrors is a recommended way. Check if you could install other big packages - maybe some software, like HTTP caching server, between you and the Internet has problems. Try to get this file separately, and install locally, by pointing pkg_add directly to it. -- Vadim Zhukov
