i tried the same site, and i'm using ksh as well, though i am using fvwm as my window manager. looking further into it, my problem may be unrelated. it was just that i discovered it at the same time, and maybe conflated them. i reverted to an older snapshot that gives the the same problem as well. i think it has to do with the vesa driver.
