After reading the commit log for softraid I am pretty sure the answer is 'no'. Therefore I have a) a patch for softraid(4) and b) another question. Question: searching for large (>1TB) HDDs I found there's '512e' [1]. Is this enough for softraid to work? The wikipedia article reads good, just to make sure.
