You have to use the octeon native objcopy by building the cross compiler: # cd /usr/src # make -f Makefile.cross TARGET=octeon cross-gcc And then use the objcopy from /usr/cross/octeon/usr/mips64-unknown-openbsd5.8/bin/objcopy
