Do you have any unallocated disk space? "disklabel sd0" should show us your disk layout. Easiest is to use this unallocated space. In case you don't have any, you could perform some surgery and swap /home & /usr/local around, since /home seems to have a lot of unused space available. For the future... Try planning your disk slice usage more carefully. If you expect to install a lot of very heavy packages, 10-20GB for /usr/local sounds like a reasonable choice. K.
