No, it was plugged into a USB3 port, it works fine over USB 2! I assume that is a driver limitation? And any idea if it's possible to switch audio devices in xfce4-mixer? It still doesn't show up unfortunately. I've added `sndiod_flags="-f rsnd/1 -f rsnd/0"` to my rc.conf.local, which falls back to the internal speakers when the headset isn't connected, but it would be a lot nicer if I could change it easily at runtime through the mixer.
