Thanks for the quick reply. I did some backtracking and I believe I found my problem. I wasn't trying to cross-build. I had installed 6.0 amd64 on the system (wipe and install) and that is the place I was building when I encountered the error. It appears I had a bad memory-stick image from which I installed. Everything had been working fine except for that build error. When I recreated the memory stick, everything worked without error. Quite ironically, the reason I am putting together the test system was to have a place where I could write a script to verify and signify the installation images. In any case, everything is working fine now. Thanks again for the quick assistance.
