In output from xinput I have one pointing device and it is wsmouse

but both trackpoint and touchpad work. I'd like to switch the touchpad
off; is there a way to do it while keeping trackpoint enabled?
I do not have bios option for disabling neither.
My laptop is hp 8470p.
