And i already answered that:
No, there isn't, because:
1. It varies from platform to platform.
2. It varies from time to time.
3. It is rarely relevant because application software
usually is the bottleneck in practice, *not* the OS.
So, 1 & 2 mean that maintaining such a list would cause considerable
work for developers, and 3 means that it would be virtually useless.
That's why we don't do it.
