Well how about if someone tests each then? Since I'm the one with a disk causing problems I could try first 11+79 and if that still detects corruption, try 52. To set that up all I do is untar src.tar.gz and edit the file in quest and run make in the program's directory, right? (sorry for the probably silly question; I'm new to OpenBSD and in fact almost all unix programming.) -Nick
