I tried it. Worked a couple times (sorta). The system would periodically lock up with errors about a disconnected SCSI device. I had my company spring for a SCSI drive, and did away with the very unreliable USB. Maybe it's improved since (that was on 3.5 IIRC), but I don't care to mess with it anymore. --Bryan
