Smtp proxy? You mean an emailserver.
I have postfix running as my primary mailserver. It delivers mail to my backend Exchange server and relays e-mail voor the same exchange server. So, in a way, it's proxy-ing the e-mail. With postfix, you have almost unlimited control over the complete mail process. I thought stunnel could also proxy encrypted pop3 traffic.
