Hi,

you are not giving much details what you are trying to do.

That said, if you do 10G use intel X520 DA2 cards (ix(4)) or onboard
hardware with the same chipset. These have SFP+ slots and you can insert
SFP+ tranceivers (coded for intel). They also support 1G SFP tranceivers.

Swapping tranceivers may require a reboot.
