Of course, but those are the constraints I have to deal with.

Naturally a dedicated bare-metal server would be preferable, but that is not always possible. Given the tremendous popularity of VPS hosting, it does seem like I am not alone.

Just because there is risk on the back-end of the system does not mean we should be careless in other respects.
