No serious difficulties, just some notes on unexpected behavior that might bear investigation.
There were two concerning messages before reboot, neither logged anywhere that I could find: one was about being unable to write bootblocks and the other was an indication that rebooting might not be possible. Rebooting of course worked fine, using the usual UEFI/GPT process. While rebooting worked, it used the 6.7 BOOTX64.EFI; sysupgrade did not update that file in the EFI system partition. The 6.7 version self-identifies on the console as 3.50 (but that doesn't seem to be logged anywhere), and the 6.8 version, subsequently manually copied from 6.8 /usr/mdec, self-identifies as 3.54. The apparently extraneous warnings should probably not be emitted on UEFI.GPT systems as they may lead to confusion. On the other hand, the EFI boot executables probably should be updated (or at minimum, there should be a message encouraging a manual update). dmesg which incorporates boot information from both versions of BOOTX64.EFI (before and after the manual update) follows. I see only two small differences: one about "random" and "good seed", and the other a tiny difference (ca. 0.0014%) in reported CPU frequency.
