mpd - All audio outputs are disabled

Hum, I had subject problem in the past following an upgrade, It happened 
again, yet, I cannot remember what the heck I used to do to solve it.

I vaguely remember it was a stupid thing.  Any hint please?
I can do aucat -i file.wav no problem.
Changed ownership of audio0 to my username
