Did xlock lose the setgid bit or group ownership? Did /usr/X11R6 gain a nosuid mount option that it shouldn't have? $ ls -l /usr/X11R6/bin/xlock -rwxr-sr-x 1 root auth 1707504 Oct 19 03:30 /usr/X11R6/bin/xlock -- Please keep replies on the mailing list.
