My floppy disk & USB related (AFAIK) BIOS settings are:
Legacy Diskette A:
  [Disabled]
USB Controller
  [Enabled]
USB 2.0 Controller
  [Enabled]
USB Legacy support
  [Enabled]
Boot Up Floppy Seek
  [Disabled]

Have not found any more related settings (AFAIK again).

Linux boots fine from USB.
