Still, the yolo-colo raid-10 (don't do that. seriously. At least not if you feel attached to your data or are not that much into restoring full offsite backups) had kind of OK performance.
In any case, i'd like to take a look at that again $somewhen; I have an SSD-Only box sitting around which should make it into a rack in the next couple of weeks/months, and then i can give the raid5 on SSD (just to see where the bottlenecks are) a shot (well, r5-on-virt; But for a test setup, that should be ok-ish) With best regards, Tobias
