Hello, I recently found the newbee of myself asked to install and probe my VPS installing and use MTR in both ways. On 100 packets requests mtr indeed give a nice tabbed report completed of host names near every ip address.
Until here nothing special more than traceroute. The curious stuff comes pinging one more time to the newbee of myself in terms of security. Now from the specs of the package I see also this one: @newgroup _mtr:790 @newuser _mtr:790:_mtr::mtr user:/nonexistent:/sbin/nologin Indeed we are all veterans (and probably indians too) but MTR is it all that secure stuff that merits to be included in OpenBSD? -- Daniele Bonini
