ftp(1) is in base and can do the fetching for you. sha256(1) and signify(1), both in base, will do the integrity checking. If you *want* to have a script that wraps both actions into one, that's fine. But I would have wanted to make life easier by sticking to the tools that are available in a default install. -- Peter N.
