My problem is, as described in the original mail, that neither dns nor ftp works over the two Broadcom BCM5701 Gigabit ethernet cards, but ICMP does. Dns queries are sent, but the answer (which I made sure reaches the box) is never evaluated. All this is already in my first mail, I only added, that everything described there works by using the onboard 3Com card (xl0). So, what else can I do? - Alexander
