Most of the time when you ask if XYZ would ever come at some point (even outside of OpenBSD) you can't really get a timed response because as many opensource projects you need people to implement and maintain it. Regarding a new FS that would require large amount of work and very specific skills in this area. ZFS is not an option, the license is already a no-go anyway (and to me, its usage and philosophy does not match the simplicity/frugality of OpenBSD).
