Hi all,
I just happily returned from a local vendor with a Netgear WG511T which,
acording to http://www.openbsd.org/i386.html should work. I know about
the issues with changing specifications and of course this seems to have
bit me (and others, as the archives show) in the ass.

AR5001-0000-0000, Wireless LAN Reference Card": irq 11
ath0: AR5213 7.9 phy 4.5 rf2112a 5.6: RF radio not supported
---------
While the AR5213 seems supported, the rf2112a seems not (I might be
totally wrong here). However, I have stumbled over a dmesg on the net
(http://mongers.org/openbsd/dmesg.tori) where it _does_ seem supported,
even though the numbers, which I suppose are version-related, differs.
1. Is this the "same" rf2112a, and could it in some way be "reused" for
my card?
2. Is (full) documentation for all the atheros chips available, or are
there some chips that will not (for now) be supported?
3. Is someone currently working on adding support for additional atheros
chips (assuming docs are available)?
4. Is it sane to keep the card, hoping for support in the (somewhat
near) future?
5. Is the list on i386.html based on old specifications of WG511T or why
does it not work?
Note that I do _NOT_ request anyone to start working on anything, but it
would be very interesting to know if anyone is already on it. I would
happily volunteer to test any patches that might help.
/Alexander
