In my desperation, I decided to test the hypothesis that the Node.js version might be the culprit. I ran the same Angular project and Neovim configuration on Slackware Current with both Node v22.12.0 and v20.18.2. Everything worked flawlessly in both cases. This strongly suggests that the issue is related to the OpenBSD ecosystem in some way. I would be very grateful for any suggestions on how to investigate or diagnose the root of the problem.
