Hi, tl;dr: when I download base77.tgz, I have $ ftp https://whatever/pub/OpenBSD/snapshots/amd64/base77.tgz Trying 10.10.10.46... Requesting https://whatever/pub/OpenBSD/snapshots/amd64/base77.tgz 2% |* | 11648 KB - stalled - ftp: Reading from socket: read failed: error:06FFF064:digital envelope routines:CRYPTO_internal:bad decrypt
Long story: I got tired of the slow disk on my APU, so I bought a used Intel I350 on ebay and plugged it into an unused computer I had lying around. Today I wanted to update to a newer snapshot but sysupgrade failed when fetching base77.tgz. Since it's the first time I'm running sysupgrade on this host, I can't tell if it's regression. The I350 is only used for my lan. Uplink is connected through "Intel I217-LM" which is fine (I can download the base77.tgz from the Internet without issue). It has 4 interfaces but I only use two over a LACP aggr(4), on top of which I have a few vlan(4) interfaces. The server hosting the sets is a virtual OpenBSD machine (running vio(4)) running on a Ubuntu kvm. The size of the download until it fails changes from attempt to attempt. At which point the network seems to fail completely: on another machine I ping the router: # ping -i 0.01 10.10.10.254 [...] 64 bytes from 10.10.10.254: icmp_seq=360 ttl=255 time=1.171 ms 64 bytes from 10.10.10.254: icmp_seq=361 ttl=255 time=0.746 ms 64 bytes from 10.10.10.254: icmp_seq=362 ttl=255 time=1.087 ms 64 bytes from 10.10.10.254: icmp_seq=1779 ttl=255 time=0.324 ms 64 bytes from 10.10.10.254: icmp_seq=1780 ttl=255 time=0.303 ms 64 bytes from 10.10.10.254: icmp_seq=1781 ttl=255 time=0.340 ms [...] I see nothing in dmesg or /var/log/messages Interestingly, I installed nginx (with https as well) on another ubuntu desktop. Downloading a large binary file over went fine: $ ftp -Scafile=/etc/ssl/chownme-cacert.pem https://anothermachine/data.bin Trying 10.10.10.125...
