Some of the newer Logitech trackballs are dual-mode Bluetooth and USB dongle, with the dongle storage hidden in the battery compartment which is nice for travel. My biggest issue in the past was losing the dongles so this is a welcome change. OpenBSD does not support Bluetooth. The (Logitech proprietary) USB dongles would just function like a standard HID mouse.
