Maybe you also noticed but it is curious that RGB are swapped....
C1,A4,A6 <=> A6,A4,C1
Yeah, I did notice that. After further testing, this still happens on
a completely fresh installation of OpenBSD 7.8. Perhaps this is a
driver issue of some kind?
Here's my dmesg output from OpenBSD 7.8:
https://ghostbin.lain.la/paste/mj44d/raw
And what I think are the relevant parts:
...
inteldrm0 at pci1 dev 2 function 0 "Intel HD Graphics" rev 0x02
drm0 at inteldrm0
intagp0 at inteldrm0
agp0 at intagp0: aperture at 0xd0000000, size 0x10000000
inteldrm0: msi, IRONLAKE, gen 5
...
Additionally, on the same hardware, running OpenBSD 7.*7*, it all
works perfectly, with the correct RGB output.
The 7.7 dmesg is here:
https://ghostbin.lain.la/paste/av8gh/raw
Unfortunately those inteldrm lines from earlier are identical.
...
inteldrm0 at pci1 dev 2 function 0 "Intel HD Graphics" rev 0x02
drm0 at inteldrm0
intagp0 at inteldrm0
agp0 at intagp0: aperture at 0xd0000000, size 0x10000000
inteldrm0: msi, IRONLAKE, gen 5
...
I'm a total noob to OpenBSD, but I think this might be due a bug
report...
