I wonder what else I can do to debug this issue?, given that I tested 3 laptops so far... If I can understand the system even better, I want to have a mental map of what happens when I connect (I do get the idea by reading usb(4)). Now, the more I understand the system the better, in case I can help with adding support. Cheers!
