Hello misc@ ( and any devs who may want to chime in )

I was updating some of my configs for 7.9 following the docs and noticed
that faq10 still tells the user to edit the hw.smt sysctl to re-enable
smt.

Doesn't 7.9 use hw.blockcpu to do that, among other cpu blocking
functionality?

https://www.openbsd.org/faq/faq10.html#SMT

I understand hw.smt will still function, but it gives a deprecation
warning when you edit that sysctl. Shouldn't faq10 point users towards
the non-deprecated method of blocking different types of cpu cores?

I guess I don't understand the reasoning, or was it an oversight?

Thanks,
