You can very quickly eliminate RAM configuration, etc. by cloning your
problem VM and reinstalling the OS from scratch and seeing if it goes
away. Provisioning swap > 2 X RAM seems like overkill IMO.

My chips are still on disk corruption. Could be your underlying storage.

If these issues are still clustered around 7.9, were any changes recently
committed to disk or filesystem drivers that affect certain systems?
