It's the behavior you see also in fvwm under Mouse Focus when you switch
from one window to another using the keyboard: the pointer jumps (warp)
to the new focused window, generally to its geometrical center.

The "pass focus to the previous window when closing the active one" is
an extra, not really needed for the "no warping pointer" behavior. I
decided to add it because the hack (at code level) is the same.

This is exactly what I'm saying I'd like to accomplish now (following
the same logic.) Also an extra. But I don't feel completely confident
in changing groups behaviour because, as I said, I still don't fully
understand groups policy. With this, for my daily use, I try to emulate
as closely as possible the use of desktops found in most window
managers, which is what I'm familiar with.

Another behaviour of groups I find annoying is that when you move a
window to another group it ends in the background. I posted a diff to
modify this time ago, no response so far. But, again, perhaps this
has its purpose, and annoys me just because I don't fully understand
groups usage.
