Hello, Between 7.8 and 7.9 something changed that makes it so one can no longer type accented characters using the ALT key in xterm. For example ALT-SHIFT-\ would produce the ü (umlaut) character, or ALT-SHIFT-+ and ALT-: can be used to produce guillemet characters as in « eccomi qua! ».
Is there some new configuration that needs to be enabled to bring back this functionality? Or is this some kind of regression? Thanks, Andy
