I have had the same experience with Windows XP + Linux and Windows XP + OpenBSD on a earlier laptop (Acer TM630). On my current laptop i'm not experiencing that problem (but got a few others though... :)). For a while i actually tried to find information, whether this might was an deliberate action or not on Windows's part. Didn't find anything conclusive of course... -- Regards Henrik
