Excellent page - Ive never seen that link referenced before(nor have I even heard of the profense product). But the hw compat. list is great.
Anyway, my main concern is/was with the PERC controllers. From past experiences with Dell, they say you are getting the same exact server/config but it's not the same..Only guarantee was in that the same batch of servers would have same controllers/NICs, but any shipments we had a month apart would result in some things being different. So, from Dell, we have hundreds of servers that are the same model but the onboard NICs and raid controllers differ. I'm glad to hear all of this feedback. Thanks all.
