I want to make sure of what I do send to some peer is really what I want
to send to them.
the asbove command doesn't quite resample that... yeah, it is
non-optimal.
So, if I understand, there isn't any way to do this at the moment then?
No way to go around this to see it in anyway?
I am running in some issues and most likely I am the one making a
mistakes somewhere, but I can't find a way to see if that's the case, or
to verify the proper, or not so proper use of my filter by looking at
what I do, or think I do send to some peer.
The only way I can do this for now is to pick a router from the self,
configure a fake AS number on it, then establish a session between this
router and my bgpd box and then look at what I get on my router using my
filters, etc.
Not a quick process, but doable however. Just when a stupid mistake is
done, not a quick way to solve it.
Any idea of suggestions to go around this?
If not, would it be possible to add this feature in may be? Not a
complain, or request, just curious as to if that might be possible to do.
Looking at what is sent or received on a per peer basic is very useful I
have to say.
Best,
