I guess it's unlikely to make a difference, but just to be sure...
it would be worth spending a little extra time to replicate this with
a GENERIC kernel, ideally one downloaded from an openbsd mirror.

It may also be worth checking a -current snapshot, since if it's a
newer (C+) chip it may attach to a different driver, re(4) which may
be better for you.


Thanks. Switching to a CURRENT snapshot, with the re driver works.
