I've found reading the various cvswebs (free, net and openbsd) to be very helpful. Seeing in the logs what's been changed or improved, what was broken, how it was fixed, when and why different things diverged from project to project, etc has been interesting as well as informative. And quite a few of the OpenBSD log messages are just plain hilarious. :) -- deanna
