After spending a few days reading over forums and continually trying
different xorg.conf settings, I havn't managed to gain the resolution
1680x1050 on my Monitor (Phillips 200W). I know from using linux that the
resolution is possible using the nv driver, but it won't go above 1280x1024.
Setup using X -configure, then inputted the defaultdepth as 24 and under 24
setup the resolutions, have also tried the vesa driver, and also horizontal
and vertical settings from my linux setups xorg.conf to no avail.
If anyone else has had this problem with X and high resolutions and knows of
the solution, or can think of another possible setting i've missed out then
please contact me.
