Status of SMP on macppc

I searched the archives regarding SMP support for macppc, especially  
G4 systems. How is progress coming along? The last thing I read was  
that someone donated some money for an SMP G4 machine but that was  
the last I saw. According to the macppc web page, SMP on the G5 is in  
progress as well. I have a PowerMac G4 Quicksilver Dual 800 MHz  
system that would be great to get running with OpenBSD/macppc if  
support is available.
