hi is the cd reader's "audio output" properly wired to the sound card's "cd in"? does your device properly work with stereo/slinear_le/16bit/48000Hz samples? For instance: mplayer -af format=s16le,channels=2,resample=48000 yourfile.mp3 -- Alexandre
