I have this Intel S3000AH(LX) motherboard.
CPU: Intel DualCore PentiumD 3,4GHz/800/2x2MB Socket LGA775
First ethernet adapter is suported by OpenBSD 4.0 release, but the second ethernet adapter hangs up the instalacion, but with current release both ethernet adapters works well. With OpenBSD instalation I see only separate SATA drives, no RAID drives. - Under FreeBSD, there is support for RAID. I hawe 2x1GB ECC DDR2 RAM, I hawe system crashs when compiling kernel, ports or onything else. When i place only one modul, than all works great !
But I hawe problems with generic.mp kernel ...
There is My problem:

Yes This system works now, with 1GB RAM(1 module) and with generic kernel (not generic.mp).
With Raidframe, etc

Sorry for my bad English !

I am currently looking for a well supported motherboard for use with a
Core 2 Duo processor. The only requirement is that it must have a
PCI-X 64bit slot for an LSI Megaraid 300-8x card.

I was thinking of using an Intel S3000AHLX because of their high build
quality, but was unsure how well it was supported by OpenBSD. Also, it
is listed as having an Intel 3000 chipset, which I was unable to find
information on compatibility with OpenBSD. It also has an ICH7R,
however that seems to be listed on the supported hardware page.

Does anyone have any suggestions on this or other motherboards that
have been successful with C2D & PCI-X?

Thanks,
Anthony
