Hi, List. I have a DT3184 monitor that is connected to the graphical card by VGA cable with HD-15 male to HD-15 male connectors. The monitor has second female connector available.
Is dual display possible? I could not find any real DT3184 specs; graphical card being used is NV43 [GeForce 6600] [1] Tried Xorg -configure with CRT one plugged in into the second connector but that did not gave clear answer. DT3184 setup has these options: PRIORITY A PRIORITY B OFIX A OFIX B I do not want to damage hw so asking first. 1. What are those OFIX options? 2. How does the dual display work with two connectors connecting monitors one through another (like xinerama or like dual head?) with one graphical card? 3. Two monitors both have to be LCDs (even the same? [2]) to work together? Would be grateful if you could possibly share any of the experiences. Sorry if questions are [too] simple.
