a. In ksh without X, in emacs, when I press Fn, it becomes F(n-1).b. And the meta is esc, how to map it to alt. When esc mapped to meta, I have to release it first before typing the next key of the binding keys. But I would like it to work only when pressing.
In X, everything is ok, but the default font is not good. I'm new to unix, and don't know how to custumize.
