Unfortunately, confusing the two terms, upGRADING and upDATING, is very
easy to do mainly because of our usage of the terms is not particularly
clear.
Fortunately, the actual process is simpler to understand when applied
and in practice. Once someone has spent some time going over the
documentation and running through both an update and an upgrade, it
tends to make sense.
