Why? Just pick any of the numerous Asterisk tutorials, and engage your
brain before typing. The differences are minimal, and mostly of the
variety 'Debian uses /usr/bin/asterisk and OpenBSD uses
/usr/local/bin/asterisk'.

Still, from a safe distance, asterisk appears to overcomplicated,
insecure, and buggy. Not sure if that impression changes on a closer
look, but I've no reason to find out.
