I do. But not my own. I build GENERIC and/or GENERIC.MP, not others.
Only in documented circumstances will I build my *own* thing.
There's an important difference between building the default kernel
(without hacking your way around kernel config files) and building
your own frankensteined kernel. Sure, it has it's uses, but this is
not Linux - the thing just works without fscking the config up.
